DAY 1 | Perth – York – Merredin - FARMSTAY

Today we head out to the Old Historical Town of York with some time to browse through some of the delights of yesteryear. we continue onto the wheat belt town of Merredin where we have the opportunity to explore some of the history of the Merredin Railway Station Museum, before making our way to a working wheat and sheep farm with some time to view around.

DAY 2 | FARMSTAY - Kalgoorlie

Late this morning we head on out through the wheat belt country to pick up the Goldmining Trail at Southern Cross and onto Coolgardie and to the Golden Mile at Kalgoorlie.

DAY 3 | Kalgoorlie

Lots of things to do today as we take a tour of the Superpit, Historical Mining museum and Hammond Park with hopefully some time to stroll down Hannan St and enjoy some of those magnificent buildings of yesteryear and do not forget the magnificent staircase of the town hall.

DAY 4 | Kalgoorlie - Norseman

Off again early today as we trek out pat some of the Old ghost towns and lake Ballard with its Ingenious statues, the old town of Menzies and hopefully enough time to stop at the Broad arrow Tavern (home of the movie Nickel Queen) for a welcome drink (your shout) this time and onto Coolgardie with its beautiful old buildings and hopefully able to visit the displays of memorabilia at the old court house and passing by Warden Finnerty’s cottage. Then onto Norseman where we can see the statue of the horse from whom the town got its name and the large mulloch heaps that show how much earth has been taken from the Central Norseman Goldmine to enable them to get the fine ounces of GOLD.

DAY 5 | Norseman - Esperance

Off in a southerly direction following the Dundas Ranges for a while and through some scenic bushlands until we emerge again into farming country around the area of Salmon Gums, and onto the Beautiful Town of Esperance. After a quick lunch we begin our exercise for the day as we head into the Cape Le-Grande national park and maybe a chance to climb up Frenchmans Peak and a stroll or two around some of the beautifull beaches and bays of this area. Returning in the late afternoon to Esperance for a well earned rest.

DAY 6 | Esperance – Hyden

Today we have a later start as we begin with a cruise on the Bay of Isles (weather and all things permitting) before some time for a quick lunch before we head on around twilight cove and some more magnificent views and beaches as we make our way through Ravensthorpe and onto the little country town of Hyden.

In the evening we test the culinary skills of you all at the Bistro where you may cremate your meat to your own liking. GOOD LUCK.

DAY 7 | Hyden

What do we have in store today? Some more of the wonders as we enjoy the marvellous sculptures of nature at Hippo's Yawn, Wave Rock, and Mulka's Cave. A tour over the rock and surrounds and finding some Gnamma holes. Visiting the Lace Place, the Wildflower Shop and Wildlife Park should more than fill in your day.

DAY 8 | Hyden - Albany

We turn our heads back towards the coast and Southern Ocean today as we pass through farming country on our way to Lake Grace and then into the Stirling Range National Park where we can see Bluff Knoll the third highest peak in W.A. to arrive in the evening at the old whaling town (now city) of Albany.

DAY 9 | Albany – Walpole

Many things to see today as we explore the first official settlement of W.A. Then on through picturesque countryside to the little town of Denmark and coastal scenery before onto William Bay and the Valley of the Giants and the famous Tree Top Walk

DAY 10 | Walpole – Pemberton

This morning we make a later start with a W.O.W. cruise on the Walpole Nornalup inlet before we get some lunch and then onto Fern Hook falls (weather and time permitting) and Pemberton and the home of the magnificent Karri trees. The third tallest tree in the world with hopefully the opportunity to visit the Gloucester Tree and a winery

DAY 11 | Pemberton – Margaret River

This morning we enjoy a pleasant train ride through the Karri forest on the old train line towards Northcliffe before returning to get some lunch. On again as we leave this lovely area of the Kingdom of the Karri and a very different afternoon of surprises and maybe a winery or 2 if you are very good.

DAY 12 | Margaret River

Mystery day as we explore hidden corners of the south west, shopping time in Margaret River, more wine, great views, good food, more wine and a relaxed finish to your day.

DAY 13 | Margaret River – Perth

Through Busselton to see the longest wooden jetty in the Southern hemisphere and the cities of Bunbury and Mandurah as we wend our way back to Perth at the end of a very diverse 13-day tour.
